KELLY ROWLAND MOTIVATES!

After I got done writing my entry about the new Beyonce track, I realized I hadnt given props to the other member of Destiny's Child, Kelly Rowland. Motivation is her new single and is supposed to be the lead single to her upcoming album which was technically due late last year. Unfortunately her David Guetta produced "Commander" didnt take off in the states so the album got pushed. Her new track is sexy, r&b pop and the perfect vehicle to get her new album to take off. I've been obsessed with this track for weeks. I can personally skip the Lil Wayne part but can see how the younger demographic would appreciate his feature. Here is the world premiere of the Commander video, the first single from the upcoming third album from, Kelly Rowland! Kelly, former member of the now disbanded, Destiny's Child, resigned from Columbia Records and parted ways with her manager, Matthew Knowles (Beyonce's father) to try a new direction. This new direction turned into a collaboration with David Guetta last year that gave us the Grammy award winning track "When Love Takes Over." Rowland returns this September with her as-of-yet untitled third full length release and her first one for Motown records. She also went back in the studio with David Guetta for the album's premiere single, Commander. The track is pure energy. The video is great. She's giving us runway, she's giving us ballroom, she's giving us vogue kids. The attitude is way hot. What do you guys think?
